Teachers Invest in Learning at WIMLSS Training
This week, teachers from our elementary and middle schools attended a two-day WIMLSS training at the Centennial Library in downtown Milwaukee. 🌟
Thank you sincerely for stepping away from your classrooms to engage in this professional learning. Your dedication to continuous growth and student support makes a difference every day!
During the training, participants:
✅ Explored the evidence base and key features of WiMLSS-B Universal
✅ Learned how to create systems that build community, identity, and belonging
✅ Refined adult practices to support positive student behavior
✅ Developed plans to lead, train, and collaborate with critical partners
✅ Practiced systems-level discussions using data to identify problems and develop solutions
We’re proud of your commitment to improving outcomes for all students! 💙📘

🔧🚗 Our Auto classes have been hard at work in the shop! Students are wrapping up their work on a 1973 Buick Centurion convertible that hasn’t been on the road since 1996. They’re now elbow-deep in a 2005 Impala generously donated by the Papala family.

And that’s not all — a Jeep rebuild, plus a scooter and Honda motorcycle project, keep things rolling. It’s a wonderful world of wheels in Auto class! 🛠️🔥

💛 November is Homeless Awareness Month 💛

This month, we take time to learn, reflect, and raise awareness about homelessness in our communities. It’s an opportunity to show compassion, understand the challenges many face, and consider ways we can all help support those in need. Together, we can make a difference.
