Last week, School District of Cudahy staff celebrated Take Your Child to Work Day! Seeing a parent in their workplace reinforces the value of education, models a healthy balance between work and family, and encourages children to envision their future. #cudahypride


Calling all current 6th grade students and their families! Cudahy Middle School is hosting 2 events just for our incoming 7th graders and their families! Friday, May 9th all current 6th grade students will be bussed over to the middle school for a Student Preview Day! They will meet teachers and future classmates as well as learn what to expect in middle school. On Thursday, May 29th, current 6th graders and their families are invited to attend Family Welcome Night! Students and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions, get to know the middle school community, and explore classrooms! And of course, don't forget to sign up for the CMS Experience for summer school! #cudahypride


Attention all 3rd and 4th grade families! Your student has the opportunity to play an orchestra or band instrument starting this summer or next fall! Information on our instrumental music program has been sent home, and this Thursday we will hold a Rental Night to answer questions, sign up for orchestra or band, and rent an instrument! See you at Lincoln Elementary School on May 1st from 6pm-8pm!

Summer is just around the corner, and we are going to give you another reason to be excited!! Join us on June 14th from 11am to 4pm at Joe's K-Ranch for the Kozy PTO Fundraiser! The Open Enrollment application period for the 25-26 school closes today! Families that reside outside of Cudahy that are interested in enrolling here have until 4pm today to submit an application! Seats are available in grades K4-12! Applications can be submitted online at https://www.cudahysd.org/page/open-enrollment. Paper applications are available at the district office until 4pm today!

Last week, Kozy students were able to participate in a super fun math and literacy activity! Daphne Draws Data helps students develop their data-drawing superpowers! Kids will hear the book read aloud and participate in a hands-on graphing activity to answer a question that peaks their interest. This engaging event will inspire kids to continue to explore graphing and help them build life long problem solving skills!
