On August 19th, Dr. Garven joined community leaders from Cudahy and St. Francis at the Feed the Children event at Project Concern. Thanks to an amazing partnership between Smithfield Foods, Feed the Children, and Project Concern, $150,000 worth of food and essential supplies were distributed to 400 local families.

The Cudahy Health Department is hosting two special kid friendly flu shot clinics! Stella the Therapy Dog will be there!

Beginning on July 28th, all Board of Education meetings will now be held at Cudahy High School in the LGI. Community members should park in the student/athletic parking lot, which can be accessed from Pulaski Avenue and Lake Drive, and enter through door C14. There will be signs directing community members to the LGI. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the district office.

Last week, the School District of Cudahy celebrated the 24-25 retirees! District administrators, staff, and past retirees came together to honor our newest retirees! Combined, these staff members dedicated 163 years to the School District of Cudahy community! Thank you for all your years of service, and we wish you a very happy retirement!

So long, middle school!! Our 8th grade students celebrated their 8th grade promotion last week! These bulldogs are now off to be Cudahy High School Packers! Congratulations Class of 2029!

The School District of Cudahy's administration office summer hours start next week. The district office will be open Monday-Thursday 7am - 4pm and closed on Fridays.

Last week, our middle school students celebrated another successful school year with a field day and color run! Students spent the day rotating through activities such as soccer, football, relay races, and tie-dyeing! They enjoyed a hot dog picnic lunch with a sweet treat from the Kona Ice Truck! Students wrapped up the day with the color run!

Congratualtions to our CMS track team for participating in the Jr. Southeast conference meet on Thursday, May 29! 5th place finishes for: 7th grade boys 400 meter relay: Kyle T., Lucas K., Abe F, and Ibraheem A. Shotput: Yousef M. Discus: Mac S. 4th place finishes include: Long jump: Veda H. Conference Medalists 3rd place finishes 100 meter dash - Julissa S. Triple Jump: Veda H. - her jump of 27'5" moves her into 4th on the CMS Track Honor Roll 7th Grade Boys Mile Relay: Nolan K., Abe F., Bennet M., and Jarron S. 2nd Place finishes include: Mile Run: Abe F., with a time of 5:44.3 seconds Long Jump: Jarron S. Triple Jump: Jarron S - with a jump of 30'9", and this jump BREAKS the CMS all time honor roll CONFERENCE CHAMPION 1st place finish Congratulations to our CMS track team for participating in the Jr. Southeast conference meet on Thursday, May 29!
