On August 19th, Dr. Garven joined community leaders from Cudahy and St. Francis at the Feed the Children event at Project Concern. Thanks to an amazing partnership between Smithfield Foods, Feed the Children, and Project Concern, $150,000 worth of food and essential supplies were distributed to 400 local families.

Beginning on July 28th, all Board of Education meetings will now be held at Cudahy High School in the LGI. Community members should park in the student/athletic parking lot, which can be accessed from Pulaski Avenue and Lake Drive, and enter through door C14. There will be signs directing community members to the LGI. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the district office.

Due to the impending hot weather/extreme heat index as well as no air conditioning in our athletic facilities, we will be canceling ALL high school athletic activities beginning 12:00pm on Wednesday 7-23-25 and going through Thursday 7-24-25. Thursday 7-24-25 evening volleyball at Greenfield H.S. will still be taking place due to their air conditioned gym.

On Friday 7-25-25 all high school athletic activities will resume as normally scheduled.

For all other activities – rec programs, extracurricular activities, etc. will be sending out their own communications once they have made decisions. Please be on the lookout for those to come or reach out to the program directors directly.

There can't possibly be a better way to end a school year than with an inflatable race at General Mitchell!!

Last week, the School District of Cudahy celebrated the 24-25 retirees! District administrators, staff, and past retirees came together to honor our newest retirees! Combined, these staff members dedicated 163 years to the School District of Cudahy community! Thank you for all your years of service, and we wish you a very happy retirement!

Our 6th graders from Lincoln took on staff members for a students vs staff basketball game last week!

Our elementary schools finished up the school year with Field Day! Students spent the day rotating through different activities such as relay races, water games, tug of war, and of course fun with foam! #cudahypride

The 4th graders at Kosciuszko went to Madison last week. They visited the Wisconsin Energy Institute, where they reviewed the topic of wind energy and then created their own turbines, keeping in mind various factors. They also went to the Geology Museum, where they did a scavenger hunt, saw fossils, and learned about the Wisconsin state rock! Finally, they wrapped up their trip with a visit to the State Capitol Building. There, they took a tour of some of the most important areas and learned about its history. #cudahypride

So long, middle school!! Our 8th grade students celebrated their 8th grade promotion last week! These bulldogs are now off to be Cudahy High School Packers! Congratulations Class of 2029!

The School District of Cudahy's administration office summer hours start next week. The district office will be open Monday-Thursday 7am - 4pm and closed on Fridays.
