🏀 On December 10th, Cudahy High School had the honor of welcoming Paralympic wheelchair basketball athletes Jeromie Meyer and Emily Oberst! Both medalists at the Paris Olympic Games, Jeromie and Emily, spoke to two of Mr. Hesiak’s PE classes and the varsity basketball teams about wheelchair sports, adaptive sports, and athletes with disabilities.
Students even had the chance to try out sport wheelchairs and play wheelchair basketball themselves!
A huge thank you to Jeromie and Emily for sharing their experiences, and a special thanks to Cudahy High School and the Wisconsin Adaptive Sports Association for bringing this incredible opportunity to our community! 🙌

We value our community and remain committed to sharing accurate information and positive stories about our schools. Recently, we made the decision to turn off public comments on our district Facebook and Instagram posts. This change is not about avoiding feedback; it is about ensuring our online spaces remain respectful, accurate, and focused on keeping families, staff, and the community informed.
Over time, comment sections have increasingly become places for misinformation, personal attacks, and unrelated debates. This shift makes it harder for families to find the information they need. Many other school districts have taken similar steps to maintain safe and productive online environments.
We want to be clear: we absolutely value two-way communication, and we still want to hear from you. You can connect with us anytime by sending a direct message on social media, emailing us at info@cudahysd.org
or communications@cudahysd.org
, calling the District Office at (414) 294-7400, or attending School Board meetings.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep communication respectful, productive, and centered on supporting our students and community.

🎃🍎 Pumpkin Patch Fun at Jones!
Each year, Mrs. Fitz transforms her classroom into a festive pumpkin patch — and this year was no exception! 🎃 Students enjoyed a fun, hands-on math lesson while “picking” pumpkins from Mrs. Fitz’s patch.
A huge thank-you to Old Homestead Orchard in Franksville, WI for generously donating pumpkins each year and helping make this special learning experience possible! 🍂💛
